Helgoland, November 2000:




Walking along the shore of the Dune Island at Helgoland I met this seal, who was trapped by a fisher net.


One day later I saw him again. Obviously he could get of rid of the net, but he was severely wounded:

This animal had a severe wound at the belly.

Why all these animals are wounded? Who is hurting them? Or are these animals so agressive? I do not know, but I am sad about it...
