In Oktober 2000, the Hamburg Ethnographic Museum organised a day, dedicated to the Shamans from Tuva: Mediators between the Worlds.

The Rituals of Shamanism

Saryglar Borbak-Ool (72), Nikolai Oorschak Munsukowitsch (50) and Nina Syrat Wasiliewna (37) are representatives of three generations of tuvinian shamans and posess different experiences, but they all derive from the same tradion.
They demonstrated their rituals, explained the techniques and answered questions of the audience.
